CCSD appoints an advisor(s) from the various Student Disability Services across CUNY to help provide guidance to the CCSD executive board, help promote the organization to faculty and administration, and provide additional assistance to the Member Clubs as needed. Advisors are confirmed on a yearly basis.
Mr. Raymond Perez
Baruch College: Asst. Director, Disability Services
Mr. Raymond Perez currently serves as the Associate Director of Disability Services for Baruch College and has been working within the disabled community for the past 8 years. He is committed to providing the highest level of accessibility for Baruch’s community of students with disabilities. Raymond serves as a liaison with high school and community colleges, state rehabilitation agencies and other professional organization in order to maintain beneficial resources and connections for Baruch students. Raymond received his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College and specializes in disability studies. Raymond’s knowledge of education, psychology, and employment as it relates to disability, is only rivaled by his unwavering commitment to helping the disabled community.

Ms. Charmaine Worthy
CUNY Administrator: University Coordinator for Student Activities
Charmaine Worthy has proudly served as CUNY’s Coordinator for Student Activities for the past two years, where she provides support to CUNY student leaders in their efforts to create, sustain, and self-govern University-wide student organizations. These organizations include, but are not limited to the University Student Senate – the representative governing body of CUNY’s more than half-million students – and the CUNY Coalition for Students with Disabilities – the representative organization of CUNY’s more than 9,000 students with disabilities.
She lends her support to these University-wide student organizations by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and tools to establish their own policies, manage their own finances, and elect their own leaders. She also serve as student leaders’ liaison to the CUNY Chancellery and Board of Trustees. Finally, she supports these leaders in the identification of organizational priorities and in campaigns to advance these priorities.
Mr. Christopher Rosa
CUNY Administrator: University Assistant Dean for Student Affairs
Chris Rosa serves as the City University of New York’s University Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. He joined the CUNY Office of Student Affairs in July 2004 after 11 years of student affairs experience at Queens College. While at Queens, Chris served as its Director of Services for Students with Disabilities, as Director of its Student Support Services Program, as its Affirmative Action Officer, and as a Student Disciplinary Officer. Chris has served as Chair of the CUNY Committee on Student Disability Issues (COSDI), Chair of the U.S. President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities’ (now subsumed under ODEP) Employee Disability Concerns Committee, and as Vice Chair of the New York State Independent Living Council.
